Times of Malta says that according to a new report, Malta fares better than most European countries when it comes to violence against women, however the severity of the violence here ranks with the worst. In another story, it says a multimillion euro online gambling racket involving parlours across Italy was directly connected to a server hosted by a Qormi-based company.

The Malta Independent says all registered doctors will be allowed to prescribe cannabis-based medicinal products as part of a proposal that will form part of a bill seeking to amend legislation concerning medicinal cannabis.
