Following a long history of cooperation between the universities of Malta and Florida the two institutions have signed a agreement to further promote their collaboration for pharmacy education and research. It also supports student and staff mobility between the University of Florida’s College of Pharmacy and the University of Malta’s Pharmacy Department for direct patient care experientials and the organisation by the University of Malta of a short course on clinical pharmacy in Europe as a study abroad option for students at the University of Florida. The agreement was signed by University of Malta rector Prof. Alfred Vella and Prof. Randell Doty, director of international programmes at the University of Florida (third and fourth from left), seen flanked by (from left) Prof. Anthony Serracino-Inglott, Prof. Lilian Azzopardi and Dr Maresca Attard Pizzuto from the Pharmacy Department.
