Sliema Wanderers have bolstered their attack with the signing of Moldova forward Nicolae Milinceanu, on loan.

In fact, the striker was signed by Swiss side Chiasso with whom the Blues have a technical collaboration and he will be available for John Buttigieg's selection immediately until February 2018. 

Born in 1992, Milinceanu was a prominent figure in Moldova's U-21 squad with whom he played 17 times and found the net six times.

His performances enabled him to feature for the Senior side, where he has collected six caps including games against Russia and Croatia who will be among the 32 teams in next summer's World Cup.

Spartans sign Bokila

Ħamrun Spartans have acquired the services of 30-year old Wim Bokila who will add more offensive value to Jacques Scerri's roster.

Bokila was recently at Achilles '29 of the Netherlands before moving to Malta and put pen to paper with the Spartans. 

Meanwhile, the club is also in advanced talks with Italian striker Davide Succi.

Succi, 36, is currently on trial with the club and has a vast experience in Italian football having played in Italian football with the likes of Cesena and Palermo.
