A new exhibition by three-time fashion photographer of the year Kurt Paris seeks to combine his passion for portraiture with a love for capturing moments and scenes.
Solitude takes its inspiration from the modern-day contrast of people feeling alone despite having never been so digitally connected.
"It's almost as if we live in two worlds, both running in parallel, often unsure which one we are a part of," Mr Paris said.
Mr Paris began his photography career as an iStockPhoto contributor, eventually becoming an inspector for the site. Locally, he developed a reputation as a fashion photographer with an uncanny ability to manipulate light, fusing his creativity with a technical approach to photography.
His latest venture features Gabriella from Supernova Model Management and outfits from designers Ritienne Zammit, Luke Azzopardi and Rosemarie Abela.
A number of fine art prints on Hahnemuhle Baryta paper will be available for sale from Palazzo de Piro and on www.kurtparis.com.
Solitude will run through the month of November at Palazzo de Piro.
