▪ The protection sellers offer through commercial guarantees should provide more advantages than the protection offered by the law.
▪ Commercial guarantees are optional and given out voluntarily.
▪ Consumers must ensure that they are given the promised commercial guarantee in writing with the terms and conditions of use clearly written on it.
▪ The fiscal receipt is not proof of the commercial guarantee, but its a proof of purchase that can only be used to exercise consumers’ legal rights.
▪ As consumers we are responsible to observe the terms and conditions of the guarantee so as not to lose its benefits.
