The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, November 13, at 8.15am for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.45am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. BRIFFA. On November 11, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, MARLENE, widow of Charles, aged 81, of Gżira, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her son Edward and her daughter Joanna and her husband Anthony and her granddaughter Francesca, her sisters Vicky and her husband Nicholas, Yvonne, widow of Costantino, Josephine, widow of Edwin, RoseMary and her husband Aldo and Antoinette and her husband Joseph, her in-laws Anthony and his wife Silvia and Peter, widower of Tereża, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, November 14, at 1.30pm for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Gżira, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CUSCHIERI. On November 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPHINE, of San Ġwann, passed peacefully, away comforted by the rites of Holy Church at the age of 76. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband George and her daughters Ruth and her husband Robert, Marcelle and her husband Ronald, together with her grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow, Monday, November 13, at 8.30am at Our lady of Lourdes parish church, San Ġwann. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

GRECH. On November 11, at Gozo General Hospital, ANTON, of Victoria, passed peacefully away at the age of 79, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Josephine, his children Louis, Anton, Mary Grace, Martin and Georgine and their respective spouses, his grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Gozo General Hospital on Tuesday, November 14 at 4pm for the Gozo Cathedral, Victoria, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4.30pm, followed by interment at St Mary Cemetery, Xewkija. GUNN. On Friday, November 3, in Blairgowrie, Scotland, MARCELLE, née Vassallo Gatt, aged 81. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Alistair, her son Magnus, his wife Yumiko and her three granddaughters, her daughter Claudia, her sisters Antoinette Beacom, Amy McKenzie, Claudine Vassallo, Marguerite Smith, Victoria Zahra de Domenico, Dolores von Möll and Salette Avison, her brother Joseph Vassallo Gatt, all their spouses, her nephews and nieces. She was laid to rest in Scotland, her home for many years. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

LEMESRE. On November 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, RITA, née Camilleri, of Salina, limits of Naxxar, aged 63, passed peacefully away surrounded by her family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Claude, her brothers John, Tony and Francis, her sisters Doris, Rose, Mary Ann and their respective spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and many friends. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Lina née Abela, his children William and his wife Karen, Ian and his wife Michelle, Ingrid and her husband Raffaele Bianco, his beloved grandchildren Jeremy, Martina, Mikela, Katrina, Erika, Luca, Petra and Mattia, his brother Lawrence and his wife Rita, in-laws, nephews and nieces. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, November 13 at 9.30am for St Helen’s Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 10am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorara Cemetery.
