BUSUTTIL. On October 28, JOSEPH, of Luqa, aged 89, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons Silvio and his wife Rita, John and his wife Liliana, Paul and his wife Maria, his grandchildren Mark and his wife Roberta, David, Nicolette, Matthew and Joseph Andrew, Christine and her husband Christian, and his great-grandson Luca, his sister Veri, in-laws, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere, will be said at 9am tomorrow, Monday, October 30, at Luqa parish church, followed by interment in the family vault at Luqa cemetery. DELIA. On October 28, MARIO, of Birkirkara, aged 61, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Georgina, his son Clifford and his wife Gabriella, his daughter Caroline and her partner Alex, grandchildren Giorgia, Jacob and Daniel, brothers and sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow, Monday, October 30, at 2pm at St Joseph the Worker parish church, Birkirkara, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
MUSCAT. On October 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMELA, k/a LINA, of Ħamrun, aged 82, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Fr Noel Muscat, OFM, Bernardette and her husband Joseph, Alexander and his wife Tania, Leonard and his wife Giselle, Louise and her husband Joseph, her brothers Victor and Joseph Buttigieg and her sister Theresa Azzopardi, her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, many relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, October 30, at 7.45am for St Francis church in Ħamrun where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Hospice Movement would be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. Special thanks go to the staff at the Day Care Unit of Sir Adrian Mamo Oncology Centre and the Neuromedical and Day Care Wards at Mater Dei Hospital.
SENIOR – SUSAN MARY, resident of Santa Pietru, Għarb, passed peacefully away following a short illness on Wednesday, October 25. Susan, born in southwest England, relocated to Għarb some 10 years ago, enjoying a very relaxed, happy life with many friends. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother John, also of Għarb, her niece Helen and husband Simon, together with many other friends and relatives in England and Malta. Susan will be sadly missed, but always remembered and never forgotten. A simple service, followed by burial, will take place on Tuesday, October 31, at 3.45pm at Għarb chapel and cemetery (Knisja Taż-Żejt). Family flowers only, with Susan’s wishes of donations to the Gozo SPCA.
