In an inspiring interview on VOA radio a few days ago, Dolly Parton, the singer who brightens up every place she attends, said she and her husband of 53 years both wanted to have children but when “nothing happened” for her it was a sure sign that the Lord did not wish her to have any.

Did she despair? Absolutely not. Instead, she dedicated her success and wealth to helping others by giving out over 100 million books to children in four countries and creating the Dollywood Family Amusement Park.

The singer has just released a new album called I believe in you. The 14 tracks written and performed by herself are meant for children but they are certainly worth listening to by everyone.
