Hospice Malta and the Collegium Musicum Choir and Orchestra under the direction of the Dion Buhagiar will be presenting a concert of sacred music to mark World Palliative Day today at St John’s Co-Cathedral,  Valletta, at 7.30pm.

The repertoire will include works by Vivaldi, Haydn, Mozart, Mascagni, Puccini, Jenkins, Rossini and Buhagiar, finishing with the Hallelujah Chorus from the Messiah by Handel. All proceeds from the concert will go towards free palliative care for people suffering from cancer and other serious illnesses.
