Almost 60 candidates will vie for the 18 Nationalist Party executive council seats in elections next month, the party announced this afternoon.

Nine women and nine men will fill the executive positions following elections which will be held on Saturday 4 November. Early voting will take place tomorrow, Saturday 27 October.

Unsuccessful leadership candidate Alex Perici Calascione, short-lived MP Jean Pierre Debono and former Birkirkara mayor Michael Fenech Adami all feature on the men's list, with former PN general council president Paula Mifsud Bonnici leading the women's list of candidates.
