The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (Mcast) is exploring the possibility of cooperating with a Dutch regional vocational education and training centre to enhance the direct hands-on experience in the fashion business and retail sectors that both organisations provide their respective students. The collaboration will also seek to tap Erasmusplus funds to support student and lecturer exchanges.

Mcast’s Technical College and ROC Nijmegen recently held discussions towards this end at a one-day conference at the college’s main campus in Paola and at its Institute for the Creative Arts in Mosta.

A morning seminar was chaired by Anthony Padovani, deputy director programme management at Mcast’s Institute of Business Management and Commerce while an afternoon session was led by Pierre Mifsud, deputy director program management at the college’s Institute for the Creative Arts.

Wilma Koppelaar and Sabastiaan Roovers led the ROC Nijmegen delegation at the meetings.
