Il-Ħaġar Museum in St George’s Square, Victoria is hosting a temporary exhibition of abstracts and other works by Jörg Böttcher, a German artist residing in Żebbuġ, Gozo.

Böttcher is better known for his acrylic paintings of Gozo landscapes and doors.

He is a self-taught artist and a photographer who is apt to discover something extraordinary in the most ordinary of things.

In the last few years he has been concentrating more on his abstract works.

The exhibition runs until October 29 and is open from 9am to 5pm. Entrance is free.
