Intergenerational dialogue is considered important for personality development in younger and older people, intergenerational solidarity, national and cultural identity, and social change. However, generations differ in approaches to society and history.
Using action research and 120 workshop sessions led by a creative facilitator, the project Active Age Intergenerational Dialogue reaches out and connect members of the older and younger generations through workshops encompassing theatre games, movement, music and reminiscence sessions. ActiveAge Intergenerational Dialogue is a project of Theatre Anon Arts Foundation.
Active Age Intergenerational Dialogue is being held at St James Cavalier until November 12. For more information, call 2122 3200. This project is funded by Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation, supported by the Active Ageing & Community Care Directorate.
