The Marsaxlokk market is one of Malta's top tourist attractions, but the crowds are creating chaos among those trying to drive through the promenade... as well as posing a potential danger to pedestrians.

A reader who took these pictures at Xatt Is-Sajjieda, has called on Transport Malta to consider alternative traffic arrangements for Sunday mornings, when thousands normally converge on the Marsaxlokk market and restaurants, forcing many pedestrians to walk on the road.

Should the road bordering the Marsaxlokk promenade by closed on Sunday mornings because of the market?
