Sports students at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (Mcast) recently organised a UV glow-in-the-dark street soccer and hip hop dance at Żejtun’s main square together with other local youths.

All the lights at the venue were switched off to transform the venue into a glowing playground.

The activity was aimed at promoting sport and integration, as well as to motivate others to engage in physical activity.

The event was organised as part of the Shake It programme that Move is organising with the support of Valletta 2018 Foundation as part of the European City of Culture programme, in collaboration with Mcast and the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector, Street Elements and Żejtun local council.
