Malta Café Scientifique is today presenting ‘Fluid Science’, an interactive talk by Anthony Galea who will guide attendees through the process of sea monitoring and modelling and the importance of understanding fluid mechanics with various experiments.

The practical study of the sea has in the last two decades leaped forward with the advancement in science and technology, improved sensors to observe marine waters by direct measurements as well as remotely from space.

The ultimate objective is to learn enough about the structure and motions of the ocean to be able to predict its future state.

This initiative is part of Spazju Kreattiv’s programme.

The event is being held today at Spazju Kreattiv, St James Cavalier, Valletta between 7.30 and 10.30pm. (Doors open at 7pm). For more information, visit http://bit.ly/MCSOct2017 .
