A symbolic ceremony took place at the church dedicated to St Anthony in Għajnsielem, run by the Franciscan Friars. The event was attended by schoolchildren wearing their school bags and other school-related items. The ceremony was celebrated by Fr Guardian Joe Caruana, OFM, who prayed and blessed the children before starting school. The children were given a keychain with a ‘Believe in yourself’ message.
