A short evening course entitled ‘An Introduction to Marine Biology’ will be held from November 1 to December 18 by the University of Malta’s Department of Biology, Faculty of Science.

The course, which is open to the public, will cover topics such as general characteristics of the marine environment and the Mediterranean Sea, shore and underwater habitats, marine pollution, fish, cetaceans and turtles, aquaculture and fisheries, and marine conservation.

Lectures will be held on Wednesdays from 6 to 8pm, while two practical sessions will be held on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.
