• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly are holding a charity car boot sale today from 7.30am to 1pm at the Victoria football ground. Participants pay €10 per car space.
• Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul (U) will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm.
• The Qala International Folk Festival, will continue today at 6.30pm with a musical programme by the Ite Ad Joseph band. At 7.30pm there will be the final ceremony with the participation of the Menħir Qala Folk Group, Akragas Folk Dance Group (Sicily), Tallinn University of Technology Kuljus Dance Ensemble (Estonia) and the Aurora Folk Group.
• A bible study meeting will be held tomorrow at 7.30pm at St Anthony church, Għajnsielem. All are welcome.
• Mcast will be receiving applications from new students for its full-time courses beginning in October, from tomorrow to Friday. Applications will be received at the Mcast Gozo Campus, Ghajnsielem, between 8.30am and noon.
• A blood donation session will be held at Gozo General Hospital on Tuesday from 1 to 5pm.
• Fr Marcello Ghirlando will celebrate Mass and a healing service at Qala parish church, on Tuesday at 7.30pm. There will be adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 6.30 to 7.30pm. Mass will be animated by Mario Caruana.
• Museum superior Joe Fenech will be holding a prayer and catechesis meeting at Our Lady of Pompeii church, Victoria, on Thursday from 10 to 11am.
• The fourth edition of the OASI Cup Run is taking place next Sunday. The meeting place is in front of the Duke Shopping Centre in Victoria. Ten-kilometre run at 8.15am; 5km wallk at 8.30am; children’s runs at 9.30am. For more information call 2156 3333 or e-mail admin@oasi.org.mt.
• On the occasion of the month of prayer for the care of creation, Dar Karmni Grima in Għarb is hosting a photographic exhibition by Daniel Cilia. The exhibition, featuring beautiful landscapes in Gozo, is open on Sunday from 9am to 12.30pm and from Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm. It will remain open until October 6.
• A photographic exhibition organised by the Chinese Cultural Centre is currently on show at the Sentinella, Cittadella Cultural Centre, Victoria. It is open from 9am to 3pm, until Saturday.
• Tapestry, an art exhibition by Henry Alamango, is currently on show at the Banca Giuratale, Victoria, until Tuesday.
