A decade after the Academy Award-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth brought the climate crisis into the heart of popular culture, comes the riveting follow-up that shows just how close man is to a real energy revolution.

Former US vice president Al Gore is participating in an exclusive streamed conversation followed by the screening of An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power.

The documentary follows Gore in his tireless fight, travelling around the world training an army of climate champions and influencing international climate policy. Cameras follow him behind the scenes – in moments both private and public, funny and poignant – as he pursues the inspirational idea that while the stakes have never been higher, the perils of climate change can be overcome with human ingenuity and passion.

The event is being held at the Eden Cinemas in St Julians’s and the Empire Cinema Complex in Buġibba tonight at 8.15pm. The documentary will be released across all cinemas in Malta and Gozo on August 30.
