The British Telegraph newspaper has described the fallen Azure Window arch as one of the top places for divers, with testimonials saying that the underwater chunks of rock were a mesmerising sight.

The iconic arch had collapsed without trace on March 8, and its absence was so sorely felt that there were almost as many crowds turning up to see the site with their own eyes as there were visitors when it still stood there majestically.

However, just a few days after the enormous chunks of rock fell into the water, local divers had already started to explore its eerie presence.

The Telegraph quoted one diver as saying the collapse was 'the best thing to happen to Gozo' - at least for divers.
