The following are the top stories in the Maltese newspapers.

Times of Malta reveals that just over €16.8 million was recovered by the tax authorities after previously unknown foreign holdings by Maltese were laid bare in the Panama Papers and Swiss Leaks.

l-orrizont carries comments by Home Minister Michael Farrugia who said Malta should be at the front of the fight against synthetic drugs. It also reports that alcohol may be banned at the stadium during the Malta-England clash. 

The Malta Independent reports that a shortage of paramedics is delaying ambulances by 10 minutes. 

In-Nazzjon says a mother was not able to see her son, a prisoner at Corradino, who was beaten up two days ago. It also says that three migrants who were stranded on board a rescue ship for days, will be admitted to Sicily.
