Watch: Environment Minister joins Pembroke residents' protest
Chiswick House School is planning to build a new school on a virgin site offered to it by the government in Pembroke. But residents held a public protest against the plans yesterday, and were joined by Environment Minister Jose' Herrera.
The government should not take the residents of Pembroke for a ride, the PN said. Both the minister of education and the minister for the environment formed part of the same government and a serious government would take a single, considered decision based on the national interest and the interests of the residents.
It insisted the residents should be consulted.
