Firefighters rushed to Qormi this evening to put out a blaze outside a former pasta factory on Triq Ħal Qormi. 

The fire was caused by trees catching fire in the heat, a member of the Civil Protection Department told Times of Malta. 

A video sent to Times of Malta showed flames rising high against the factory facade as motorists drove past.

No more information was available at the time of writing.
