Neymar is hoping to make his Paris St Germain debut tomorrow after completing his world-record transfer from Barcelona.

The Brazil forward, who won the Champions League and two LaLiga titles with Barca, has agreed a five-year contract with the ambitious French club and will be presented to the Parc des Princes crowd ahead of their opening Ligue 1 fixture of the season against Amiens.

PSG are bidding to reclaim the Ligue 1 championship from Monaco and their mission will start at home to newly-promoted Amiens.

And Neymar, now the world's most expensive footballer following his £200.6million switch from the Nou Camp, is keen to get going.

''I'm ready,'' he said. ''If I can play tomorrow, why not?

"I will speak with the staff and wait for the green light, but this is what I love to do - play football.''
