The over 2,000 words missile launched by former Nationalist Cabinet minister Tonio Fenech towards Simon Busuttil reflects what the Labour Party has been saying over the past couple of years that the Opposition leader was a “fake leader”.

Indeed, after Busuttil had been giving the impression that the PN had become a party that believed in transparency, diversity, openness, accountability and was a paragon of democracy, Fenech told him: “These last four years, the PN had acquired the art of silencing those who had differing opinions.”

And, yet, PN exponents keep repeating that the “PN’s door is open to everyone”. The big question is: which door, the entrance or the exit?
