A Xandriku festival, Ngħixu Xandriku fl-Imgħoddi, was held in Xandriku Street, Nadur, by the Għaqda Armar Triq Xandriku, in collaboration with Nadur local council.

Visitors were hosted to various exhibitions set up along the street, including military vehicles, folk singing, people dressed in period costume, lace-making and a street barbecue.

Throughout the evening, visitors were able to relive the street’s rich history along the years. It is said that in the past Xandriku Street was the meeting place for renowned sculptors and painters, including Lazzru Pisani and Franġisk Saver Sciortino.

The Kelinu Grima Maritime Museum and the Blended Art Gallery in Xandriku Street were also open to the public.

Gozitan poetess Mary Meilak dedicated one of her poems, entitled Xandriku, to this very street.

The group Loose Ends also participated.
