AQUILINA. On July 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, BRIAN, of Valletta, residing at Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, aged 54, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his mother Josephine, his father Paul, his sister Bridgette and his brother Chris and his wife Marvic, his nephews and nieces Brenda, Brian and his wife Blanche and Miriana and her partner Haydon, his uncles and aunts, cousins, their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, July 29 at 1.15pm for Id-Dar tal-Providenza chapel where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CARUANA TRICCAS. On July 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, DAVID, of Baħrija, aged 22, passed on to eternal life comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his parents Charles and Jessie, his brother Adrian, his grandfather Frank, aunts, uncles, cousins and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, July 29, at 8.45am for Baħrija church where Mass for the repose of his soul will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. D’ANASTASI. On July 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, Major CARMEL (Danny) D’ANASTASI, MBE, RMA, of Rabat, aged 98, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons Charles and his wife Connie, Godwin and his wife Mariosa and Emmy and his wife Angele, his daughters Anna and her husband Christopher Busuttil, and Patricia Pace, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, July 31 at 8am for St Dominic’s church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GALEA. On July 26, at St Vincent de Paul residence, IVO of Guardamanġia, aged 87, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sad loss his dearest wife Fortunata, née Buttigieg, his brothers, Mgr. Anton Galea, and Charles and his wife Marie, his nephew Ian and his wife Natalie and their daughters Francesca and Clara, his in-laws Mary, Joe and his wife Lilian, Tony and his wife Sylvia, his wife’s nephews and nieces, many relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence tomorrow, Saturday, July 29, at 9am for Our Lady of Fatima Sanctuary, Guarda-manġia, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Naxxar cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Dominican Mission in Albania, c/o Fr Angelo Mamo, St Dominic’s convent, Rabat, will be very much appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. GRIXTI. On Thursday, July 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOHN (former PC 384), of Dingli, residing at Żebbuġ, aged 73, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Salvina, his children, Barbra and her husband Carmel, Denise and her husband Ian and Joanne and her husband Vince, his grandchildren Matthew, Maria, Andrew, Martina, Katrina, Daniel and Karl, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, July 29, at 2.30pm for St Mary’s parish church, Dingli, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at San Blas Cemetery, Żebbuġ.
