The United States have reclaimed the CONCACAF throne from Mexico after defeating Jamaica in the Gold Cup, the regional tournament which is equivalent to the UEFA European Championship.
This was their sixth success in 10 finals they have been involved in, with Bruce Arena adding a third after leading the side to success back in 2002 and 2005.
On the other side, this was Jamaica's second straight loss in a row in the Gold Cup after losing to Mexico in 2015 and it was also their second consecutive defeat in a final, after falling to Curacao back in June in the Caribbean Cup final.
USA will now face the winner of the 2019 Gold Cup, unless they win it, in order to determine the CONCACAF's representative at the 2021 FIFA Confederations Cup.
Jordan Morris wins it late
At the Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California, the hosts forged ahead through a stupendous free-kick from Jozy Altidore.
However, the Reggae Boyz levelled terms through Je-Vaugh Watson, who plays his football in MLS with the New England Revolution.
Nonetheless, Arena's side still found a way to emerge winners as youth Jordan Morris struck late in the match to put his nation on top of the region once again.
