A 33-year-old man from Mqabba was grievously injured this evening following a collision between the sulky he was riding and a car.

The police said the accident happened in Triq il-Wied, Qrendi at 6.30pm. The collision was with a car that was being given by a 45-year-old man from Siġġiewi.

The victim was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.
