GAUCI. On July 21, CRISTINO, aged 80, passed peacefully away at Mater Dei Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Rita, his dear children Carmen and her husband Ray, John and his wife Rose, Marthese and her husband Paul, Brian, his grandchildren Darryl, Luca, Chris and Jeanette and their respective partners, his brother, sister and in-laws, his nephews and nieces and other relatives. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, July 24 at 8am for Rabat parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30 am, followed by interment at Santa Margherita cemetery, Rabat. Donations to the Marie Midolo Foundation and to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated. Special thanks go to the consultant and his team, family doctor and all the staff at Mater Dei Hospital. MANDUCA. On July 21, ANNA, née Naudi, of St Julian’s, aged 92, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Edward Naudi and his wife Catherine, her beloved sister Evelyn, her nieces and nephews and their families. The funeral leaves Mater Dei hospital tomorrow, Monday, July 24 at 8am for the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Balluta, St Julian’s where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Radju Marija, Rabat, will be appreciated. The family would like to thank the staff at Surgical Ward 4 at Mater Dei Hospital for their care and dedication. SANT CASSIA. On July 22, the noble YVONNE, aged 91, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Josephine Cachia Caruana, her nephews and nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am on Tuesday, July 25 at the parish church of the Annunciation of Our Lady, Balzan, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would like to thank Josephine Camilleri and the staff at Casa Antonia, Balzan. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
VELLA. On July 21, at Villa Messina, SALVINU, of Żejtun, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers and sisters Bridget and her husband Joseph, Adelaide and her husband Morris, Cassilda, widow of Joseph, Charlo and his wife Mary and Caesar and his wife Phyllis, Doris, widow of his brother Lino, nephews and nieces and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Villa Messina tomorrow, Monday, July 24 at 8am for St Gregory’s cemetery chapel in Żejtun where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at the same cemetery.
