• The sales season does not diminish or negatively affect consumers’ legal rights.

• ‘No Refunds’ and ‘No Exchanges’ shop policies cannot be implemented by sellers in case of goods with a hidden defect.

• When legal rights do not apply consumers must adhere to the shops’ return policies.

• Consumers should hold on to the proof of purchase as sellers would request to see this proof before providing a remedy.
