Evenings on Campus is back.  Now in its 25th edition, the festival is being held between tomorrow and Friday, August 11. It includes an avant-garde range of music, dance, theatre performance and science in art to attract discerning fun-loving audiences – young and young at heart. The following are highlights from the programme:

Transit[ion], a performance by Tricia Dawn Williams, extends the black and white piano keyboard towards multi-coloured landscapes of electronic music.

At Campus Theatre tomorrow at 9pm.

In Storjakantata, an evening dedicated to the Maltese language, unpublished stories by Trevor Zahra will be interpreted by actor Joseph Galea, while Corazon will link them to song.

At main quadrangle on Saturday, July 29 at 9pm.

Young audiences can enjoy Shakeshorts, written and performed in a humorous style to allow children to enjoy Shakespeare.

At KSU Common Room on Sunday, July 30 at 6pm.

Malta Café Sci speakers will talk about their various expertise and the methods applied in the conservation of different surfaces and works of art in Science of Conversation.

At Main Quadrangle on Sunday, July 30 at 8pm.

Alegria Dance Company together with Tikka Banda is presenting Tikka Alegria, an experimental performance fusing flamenco dance with traditional Maltese band marches.

At Main Quadrangle on Wednesday, August 2 at 9pm.

Eternal Glades closes the season with a hilarious performance about a retirement home for old gods, with Odin trying to figure out why Zeus is so naughty.

At Main Quadrangle on Thursday, August 10 and Friday, August 11 at 9pm.

This year, Evenings on Campus is introducing a festival pass which provides individual admission to all paying events.

It is also introducing a family ticket, which gives admission to an individual event to two adults and up to three children under the age of 15,per performance.

Tickets may be purchased online from www.ticketline.com.mt or at the door. The venues are accessible to wheelchair users.  Free parking in the car parks of the University of Malta Msida Campus is included.
