These are the leading stories in today's local newspapers. 

The Times of Malta reports that NGO Commissioner Kenneth Wain wants the Gozo Ministry investigated on suspicions of having misused an NGO fund. Prof Wain had flagged concerns in both his 2015 and 2016 reports.

The Malta Independent highlights a Curia commission report which received 24 complaints of abuse of children. The commission found that six of those claims could be substantiated. 

A photo of a solar farm under construction in the limits of Rabat is also given prominence. 

L-Orizzont writes that Air Malta plans to expand, with a new aircraft set to be added to its fleet and new European and North African routes in the pipeline. 

In-Nazzjon also leads with news of the Curia commission report, with the paper also highlighting a photo of the PN's four leadership candidates meeting yesterday in Valletta for coffee and a chat.
