Harpist and composer Sasha Boldachev, soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre, will this evening perform a programme of compositions for harp in a concert dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Russian-Maltese diplomatic relations.

He started his performance career that same year.  He studied the harp at the St Petersburg State Conservatory with Karina Malyeeva and continued his education at the Zucher Hocheshule der Kunste, in Switzerland with Catherine Michel.
