MUSCAT. On July 17, ANTHONY of Buġibba, aged 89, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved children Miriam and her husband Silvio Vella, Sr Henriette of the Ursuline Crèche sisters, Dr Anna Vella and her husband Antoine, Joe and his wife Catherine, and Antoinette and her husband Claudio Laferla, his grandchildren Maria and her fiancé Benjamin, Marie Claire, Christina and her fiancé Noel, Steve Michael, Martina, Gabriella and Michele, his brother Bertie and his wife Emily, Doris, widower of John Mizzi, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Gozo General Hospital tomorrow, Friday July 21 at 8am for St Francis parish church, Qawra, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to the Ursuline Crèche sisters and Hosea House, Tarxien, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
