Obituary
MICALLEF. On July 16, at Mistra Bay, FIORENTINA, née Micallef, of Mellieħa, passed away peacefully, aged 87. Dearly missed and never forgotten by her husband Carmelo, her children Margot and her husband Patrick Cutajar, Steven and his wife Marlene, Chantell and her husband Norbert Conti, and David and his partner Leanne Callus, her grandchildren Jonathan, Simon, Etienne, Zack, Rebecca, Nathalie, Sam, Leo and Blake, her brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Wednesday, July 19, at 2.30pm for Mellieħa parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment at Queen of Victories Cemetery, Mellieħa. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
MUSCAT. On July 17, ANTHONY of Buġibba, aged 89, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved children Miriam and her husband Silvio Vella, Sr Henriette of the Ursuline Crèche sisters, Dr Anna Vella and her husband Antoine, Joe and his wife Catherine, and Antoinette and her husband Claudio Laferla, his grandchildren Maria and her fiancé Benjamin, Marie Claire, Christina and her fiancé Noel, Steve Michael, Martina, Gabriella and Michele, his brother Bertie and his wife Emily, Doris, widower of John Mizzi, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Gozo General Hospital on Friday, July 21 at 8am for St Francis parish church, Qawra, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to the Ursuline Crèche sisters and Hosea House, Tarxien, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
