The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers today.

Times of Malta, like most of the other newspapers, leads with yesterday's overwhelming approval by parliament of the gay marriage law. Nationalist MP Edwin Vassallo was the only one to vote against. 

The Malta Independent focuses on the celebrations held in Castille Square to celebrate the gay marriage law, including the lighting up of the Auberge de Castille in the rainbow colours. 

In other stories, l-orizzont reports that the Competition Division is investigating the proposed takeover of Vodafone Malta by Melita. 

In-Nazzjon leads with comments by Archbishop Scicluna yesterday that the police force is not there to serve the party in power, but to serve all of society.
