ATTARD. On July 11, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, ANNE, née Rizzo, of Msida, aged 97, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved daughter Josephine and her husband Luigi Casati, her son David and his wife Marika, her grandchildren Diane-Marie, Sean-Paul, Claudio and his wife Ilaria, and Giacomo, her great-grandson Niccolò, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, July 13, at 7.40am for Msida parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
XUEREB. On July 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOHN (Tar-Roti) of Kalkara, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sisters Lina and her husband Leli and Ċettina, Lily, widow of his brother Salvinu, his nieces Mary Anne and her husband Joseph and Monica and her husband Charles, their children, all other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Thursday, July 13, at 1.45pm for St Joseph parish church Kalkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at St Lawrence Cemetery, Vittoriosa.
