• Today, Kerċem celebrates the feast of Our Lady of Succour. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech leads a Pontifical Mass at 9am. At noon, the St Anthony Band of Birkirkara will play marches along the main streets of KerĊem. At 7pm, there will be evening prayers, led by parish priest Fr Brian Mejlak. At 8pm, Mgr Franġisk Sultana leads the procession with the statue of Our Lady, accompanied by the St Gregory Band of KerĊem. The Mnarja Band will give a concert in front of the parish church at 8.30pm. At the end of the procession Bishop Grech will give Sacramental Benediction.

• A blood donation session will be held at the Gozo General Hospital Out-patients Department today from 8am to 1.30pm.

• A Bible study meeting will be held at St Anthony church, Għajnsielem, tomorrow at 7.30pm. All are welcome.

• The third apparition of Our Lady of Fatima will be celebrated at Ta’ Ħamet church, l/o Xewkija, on Thursday. There will be adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 6 to 7pm, followed by Mass and a pilgrimage with the statue of Our Lady of Fatima. All are welcome.• MCAST has just launched its Prospectus for full-time courses starting in October. The Diploma in Business, Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences and Higher Diploma in Facilitating Inclusive Education are being offered for the first time. • Il-Fergħa Ewkaristika (Għawdex) will hold an hour of adoration at Our Lady of Pompeii church, Victoria, on Thursday from 9 to 10am. The rosary will be recited at 8.45am. Everyone is invited.

• A Summer Book Festival – a two-day event packed with cultural activities as well as a book fair – will be held at Sir M. A. Refalo Sixth Form in Victoria between Friday and Saturday. The cultural activities will be based on youths, literature and poetry, with a special event commemorating Gozitan poet Ġorġ Pisani. The festival will be opened by Gozo Minister Justyne Caruana at 10am.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Ta’ Ħamet, on Saturday at 8.30pm, followed by Mass at midnight.
