• Sellers are legally obliged to abide by the agreed delivery date. If not, consumers may opt to terminate the contract of sale.

• Consumers should negotiate a reasonable deposit amount as usually the goods ordered are delivered weeks or months after the order is made.

• Consumers should make sure that when they reach an agreement with the seller on how payments will be made, the sales contract stipulates that an amount of the total price is paid after the delivered furniture is installed and checked our for any defects.

• Consumers are responsible to report damages or any other lack of conformity as soon as they become aware of them.

• Consumers must make sure that the details of the order agreed with the seller are clearly written on the sales contract.

• A sales contract is binding and consumers cannot simply change their mind afterwards.
