Maltese alternative band Brodu will tomorrow launch its latest album, Tfejt.

The band was set up in 2011 to record an album with songs composed by Mark Abela and the late Darren Gatt, which they released in 2014. They sing in Maltese and play rock music with influences from various musical genres.

Tfejt primarily deals with the themes of solitude, loss of hope and a feeling of resignation.

Brodu is comprised of Mark Abela (also known as Zizza), Frederick Abdilla (il-Fre), Samuel Attard, Chris Mallia, Andrew Micallef (id-Drinu) and Andrew Schembri (light).

They plan to perform the entire album in two intimate shows at the St James Cavalier theatre. The plan is to create an informal home environment in the theatre with the use of some props and lighting.

Tfejt will be launched through two shows at Spazju Kreattiv in St James Cavalier, Valletta, tomorrow at 5.30pm and 8.30pm. Tickets may bought at www.kreattivita.org.
