Milan’s summer spending spree continues after the Rossoneri captured promising Italy Under-21 defender Andrea Conti from Atalanta on Friday.
After finishing in a disappointing sixth place in Serie A last season, Milan are rebuilding for a renewed tilt at honours and, backed by their new Chinese owners, have signed no fewer than seven proven talents in this transfer window.
Full-back Conti, 23, arrives from Atalanta and follows Andre Silva, Ricardo Rodriguez, Hakan Calhanoglu, Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessie and Fabio Borini in moving to San Siro in recent weeks.
A statement published on acmilan.com said Conti, who helped Atalanta qualify for the Europa League last term, had agreed a five-year deal with the Rossoneri.
