A 'Disco Bus' is being introduced, linking popular night-life and entertainment venues, Malta Public Transport said today.

The weekend service will depart from St. Julian’s every 30 minutes, stopping in Spinola, Sliema, Uno (in Ta’ Qali) and terminating at Gianpula, with trips departing between 10.40 pm and 1.40am on Friday and Saturday; and between 8.20 pm and 10.50pm on Sunday.

The return trip follows the same route (in reverse), departing from Gianpula between 1.30am and 4am on Friday and Saturday; and between 10.40pm and 1.10am on Sunday.

Tallinja card holders can benefit from reduced rates of €2.50 per trip, while 'cash tickets' can be purchased on board the bus for €3.00 per trip.
