Jorginho struck a late winner as Hibernians beat FC Tallinn in Estonia to reach the second qualifying round of the Champions League following a 3-0 aggregate win.

Next up for Mark Miller’s side will be Austrian champions FC Salzburg.

Tallinn tried to push Hibernians into their own line but they rarely threatened the goal except for a Kirill Nesterov’s shot after four minutes.

Hibs replied with a couple of efforts through Jorginho and Johan Bezzina, but both were cleared out by Matvei Igonen.

On the brink of half-time, FCI had a couple of efforts on goal but they failed to find that crucial goal to break the deadlock into their favour.

In the second half, Hibs sought to preserve their advantage and FCI were rarely dangerous, with the Maltese side actually having more shot attempts through Jorginho and Marco Sahanek.

Late in the match, Brazilian Jorginho scored the winning goal as after receiving from Bezzina, he rounded past the goalkeeper to put into an empty net and rewarding the Paolites for their solid display.
