CASSAR. On July 2, at Pax et Bonum Home, Mosta, MARY, widow of Salvatore (aka Sonny), at the venerable age of 96, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Josephine and her husband Alfred Pavia (residing in Australia), Margaret and her husband Malcolm Debono (residing in Australia) and her son Edward and his wife Catherine nèe Cassar, her grandchildren Sarah, Geoffrey, Duncan, Adrian, Michael and Simon and their respective partners, and great grandchildren Mia, James, Bonnie, Tillie, Isla, Camden, Julian and Charlotte, her sister Rose Grech and brother-in-law Joseph Pace, nephews and nieces, other relatives, friends and also the community of Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus at the home. Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow, Tuesday, July 4, at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery chapel at 3pm followed by interment. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
HERSEY. IMELDA nèe Pace, aged 86, widow of William Joseph, passed away peacefully on July 1 at Villa Messina, Rabat, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Anne and her partner Frederick Wilson, Paula and her husband Charlie Ciantar, and her son Joe, grandchildren Charlene and her husband Sergio Persiano, Paula and her fiance Pierguido Saliba, and Lara and her boyfriend Kevin van den Bergh, her great-grandchildren Eve and Mia Persiano, her nephew David Pace and niece Denise Caslake, their respective families, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Villa Messina tomorrow, Tuesday, July 4, at 7.45am for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, and Puttinu Cares would be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to thank the nurses and all the staff at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital and Villa Messina for their care and dedication.

He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Maria Assunta Bartolo, his nephew Raymond Bartolo and his wife Clementine, their children Jake and Mattea and his niece Marthese Caruana and her husband Godwin, their children Neil, Annalise and her husband Pasquale, other relatives and beloved friends. The funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, July 5 at 9.30am at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SCIBERRAS. On July 3, at Pax et Bonum Home, Mosta, FILOMENA, aged 86, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Margaret and Agnes and her husband Lawrence Gatt, her sister-in-law Maria, her niece Louiselle and her husband Stephen Govè, her nephews Etienne and his wife Christine, Joseph and his wife Rachel, her great nephews and great nieces, Jean, Gaia, Leah, Maya, Sasha and Mattias, relatives, friends and also the community of the Franciscan Sisters of the Heart of Jesus at the home. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 5 at 8.30am at Mosta parish church of the Assumption, followed by interment at Mosta cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
