Malta-based Managing Partners Group (MPG), the international asset management group, held its summer cocktail party for senior professionals working in the financial services industry. Some 80 people attended the event, which was held at the company’s offices in Balluta Bay.

MPG is a multi-disciplined investment house that specialises in the creation, management and administration of asset-backed securities and regulated mutual funds for SMEs, financial institutions and sophisticated investors.  It currently manages funds with a gross value of $500m.

Maltese jazz singer Angela Vella Zarb provided the music as guests mingled and enjoyed the evening.

MPG chief executive officer Jeremy Leach said: “We had a wonderful time, and were delighted to see so many distinguished guests from Malta’s fast growing and successful financial services industry attend our event. The sector has enjoyed strong growth in recent years, and everyone working in it is optimistic about the future.”
