• Today, Għarb celebrates the feast of the Visitation with a solemn Mass led by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech at 9am. The St Margaret Band will play marches at 11.30am. Sung vespers will be led by Cathedral Archpriest Mgr Joseph Sultana at 6.30 p.m. At 7.30pm, Mgr Sultana will lead the procession, accompanied by the Visitation Band. The Leone Band will perform in front of the parish church. At the end of the procession there will be the antiphon and Sacramental Benediction. A thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 7pm, followed by a barbecue in front of the parish centre.• For the third consecutive year, the Għaqda Festa Għajn Tuta of Kerċem is organising a fireworks display with music on Friday at 9pm on the feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Help to be celebrated next Sunday. The theme of the display is Pyrofantasia-Zero Gravity, which will include a traditional fireworks display and a spectacular pyromusical. The fireworks display is by the 12th May Fireworks of Żebbuġ (Malta) and Merlinfire of Gozo.

• A evening of rock music is being held at 28th April 1688 Street in Sannat on Friday at 8.30pm. The concert will feature two Maltese bands – A Broken Design and Decline the Fall and DJ Despise. The evening is being organised by the Gozo Culture Office within the Gozo Ministry.

• The Sacred Heart Minor Seminary in Gozo is offering various courses  leading to ECDL Standard, ECDL Advance and ECDL Digital Marketing certifications. For more information call 2155 6479.

• The Minor Seminary ICT summer club is back. Children attending the club will gain hands-on experience in areas that are not covered during regular school hours such as robotics, games creation and touch typing. • The 6th edition of Hondoq By Night is being held in Qala on Friday at 8pm. The festival will feature the rock band Red Electrick and DJs Ryan Spiteri, Darco and Micimago.

• A fundraising event, Under the Stars concert, is being organised by the Gozo CCU Foundation at Ta’ Frenċ gardens, off Marsalforn Road, on July 16, at 7.30pm. Entertainment will be provided by Brass Tubes, with special guest Corazon. All proceeds will go towards the purchase of another two ventilators for the Gozo CCU Ward.
