Watford have signed right back Kiko Femenia from Spanish side Alaves and Austria under-21 goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann.

Femenia has agreed a four-year deal, the Premier League club said.

The 26-year-old spent two seasons with Alaves, making 77 appearances in total and 31 in La Liga last season.

Bachmann has joined Watford on a three-year deal after his contract at Stoke City expired, bringing an end to his six seasons at the club.

The 22-year-old has been called up for Austria’s senior squad in each of the last two international breaks.

Nike in multi-year Spurs deal

Nike, the world’s largest footwear maker, have signed a multi-year agreement to become Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur’s official kit supplier from next season.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Nike, one of the world’s leading brands,” Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy said.

“Nike is committed to partnering with us both at home, at a time when our new stadium scheme is the catalyst for the regeneration of Tottenham, and globally, with our growing fan base mirrored by Nike’s worldwide reach.”

No financial details were given but local media estimated the deal was worth £25 million ($32.55 million) a year.

Pellegrini returns to Roma

Roma have completed a €10 million deal to bring Lorenzo Pellegrini back to the Stadio Olimpico from Sassuolo.

A Roma academy product, the 21-year-old midfielder has signed a five-year contract to return to the club.

Pellegrini has made just one senior appearance for his country, but has been a regular in Italy’s youth setup, helping the U-21s to the semifinals of the European Under-21 Championship before bowing out to Spain this summer.

“It is an incredible feeling to come back,” Pellegrini said. “This was my objective from the moment I went to Sassuolo. It is the culmination of a great two-year journey with them.”

Huddersfield sign Danish keeper

Huddersfield Town have signed Danish goalkeeper Jonas Lossl on a season-long loan from Bundesliga club Mainz 05, the newly promoted Premier League side said.

Huddersfield have an option to sign 28-year-old Lossl permanently at the end of the loan deal.

The Dane has one full cap and 250 top flight club appearances in Denmark, France and Germany, as well as European and international experience.

“As everyone knows, we were very successful with our loans last season and now we have had the chance to bring another high-quality player to the club in this way,” Town head coach David Wagner said.

Atletico extend Saul’s contract

Midfielder Saul Niguez has signed a new nine-year contract with Atletico Madrid that will keep him at the La Liga club until June 2026.

The 22-year-old has emerged as one of the most exciting midfield talents in Europe over the past two seasons, and was a key player during Atletico’s run to the Champions League semi-finals last season.

Niguez played 53 games for Atletico last season, scoring nine goals, four of which were in the Champions League.

“I am very happy because at Atletico we are a family and there is no better place to be,” Niguez said.

Olympique Lyon bring in Diaz

Lyon have announced the signing of Real Madrid striker Mariano Diaz for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old has signed a four-year contract at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais after struggling to get regular playing time with Zinedine Zidane’s side.

Diaz, a Dominican Republic international, only made 14 appearances in all competitions for Los Blancos last season but did manage to return five goals.

He said : “I am very happy to be here at the OL, it is one of the best in the country and even in Europe. I have come and it is wonderful to be part of this great club, and today I have the opportunity to demonstrate what I am worth. I have a great will.”
