Josephine Borg, director general, Consumer Affairs, has issued a public statement in accordance with Article 8 of the Consumer Affairs Act (Cap.378), by means of which she has identified and gave information to the public that Alu Care Mosta Ltd (C 32359), has not honoured the decision delivered by the Consumer Claims Tribunal.

The consumer had ordered aluminium work from the company, but it turned out to be faulty due to rainwater seepage. The tribunal ordered the company to pay the consumer €300. The company neither submitted a written reply nor attended any of the tribunal’s sittings.
